Options:
replacement
: Replacement string. Default '-'.transliteratorId
: A valid transliterator id string. Ifnull
(default) the transliterator (identifier) set viaText::setTransliteratorId()
orText::setTransliterator()
will be used. Iffalse
no transliteration will be done, only non words will be removed.preserve
: Specific non-word character to preserve. Defaultnull

Truncates text.
Cuts a string to the length of $length and replaces the last characters with the ellipsis if the text is longer than length.
Options:

If true, HTML tags would be handled correctly
